Customer Experience: The Power of the Trio
This bio shifts the focus from a standard business origin to a narrative about family equity and community backing. Highlighting Anthony, his wife's Michoacán roots, and Carlos's partnership shows the neighborhood that supporting Tito's means supporting real, local families. This builds deep brand loyalty.
Our Roots
More Than a Food Cart.
A Community Table.
Tito's Taquitos started in an aqua blue cart on SW Vermont Street in 2021. The world was upside down, but Chef Anthony knew one thing: good food brings people together. We named it after Anthony's late stepfather, Margarito, "Tito", a man who spent his life hunting down the perfect taquito across Southeast LA.
But this business is not a one-man show. It is a family effort. Anthony's culinary drive is paired with his wife and co-founder's deep roots in Michoacán, bringing authentic, uncompromising Mexican flavor profiles to every dish. Alongside their partner Carlos, who anchors the daily operations, they have built a team focused on doing one thing exceptionally well: feeding their neighbors.
This business was built by you. Every hand-rolled taquito and every event we serve is our way of giving back to the community that gave us everything. Welcome to Tito's.
